Saree School Lesson 10 - Easy hip pleats (method #2).

Grab the leftover fabric between your front pleats and pallu. Gather the fabric upwards and guide it along the hip to create pleats. Pin the gathered pleats to the first layer of the saree and your underskirt or Saree Silhouette. Easy peasy!

Saree School Lesson 3 - Tuck flat.

This lesson is especially important when draping wider sarees like Kanchipuram. Our lace sarees are similar in width and while they’re easier to drape for those who are tall, taking the time to tuck as flat as possible from the very first tuck will ensure that the drape looks neat and structured regardless of height.
