Feed a band-aid, button, or piece of paper through the safety pin before pinning your saree. I used white paper here so that it is easy to see in the video but would recommend using a similar colour to the saree.

Saree School Lesson 7 - Tucking in your pleats.

After you've staggered your front pleats, tuck them into your underskirt to the right of your belly button. This will ensure that your pleats are nice and centered.
