Perfect fit! I ordered a medium . Stopped wearing sarees after kids, but made me look perfect in sarees after all the weight gain. Normal saree skirts leave a tight mark on abdomen but this elastic can hold a saree in shape and in place. Already added 3 to my wardrobe.
I have been using the saree silhouette for more than two years now and even before my wedding date was decided, I went ahead and ordered the Vino Luxe. For all my pre-wedding rituals, I wore the SS. Then came the D-day and like in most Indian weddings, I wore red for mine. I must have sat in the Mandap for some 5+ hours and even stayed in the same saree for almost 12 hours. The saree silhouette not only kept my kanjivaram saree in place the entire time, it did not give me any rude red lines at my waist. Tia, I thanked you a million times that day. I currently have 8-10 colours, but I will buy more. It's not a purchase, it's an investment honestly. I have recommended the SS to half a dozen of my friends and my sister, and each of them have become permanent converts of your saree silhouettes.
I love the bubblegum saree silhouette. The colour is very nice.
My fourth one so far. Love them
Tia Bhuva’s silhouettes truly lends a beautiful fall to sarees when we drape them. I love the fabric and being in the US it works well since we live in air conditioned spaces for most parts of our days. However the experience was quite uncomfortable when I tried to wear these underneath my sarees in India. I visited in summer, it was hot and muggy and the drapes would keep riding up somehow. I did try to find a replacement suitable for Indian climates when I was back there, but nothing compares to the quality of Tia Bhuva’s silhouettes. The ‘shapewear/fishcut petticoats’ as they are called there would either not have the right kind of fit or runs color like there’s no tomorrow. Therefore, long story short, these are totally worth every single dime spent and makes me look curvaceous and sexy in sarees.
