How To Measure To Get Your Perfect Fit Video
Size
How to Measure:
To measure your waist size, you can follow these steps:
- Stand up straight and comfortably with your feet slightly apart.
- Locate your natural waistline, which is typically the narrowest part of your torso. It is usually located above your belly button and below your rib cage.
- Wrap a measuring tape around your waistline, ensuring that it is parallel to the floor.
- Make sure the measuring tape is snug against your body but not too tight, and avoid compressing your skin.
- Take note of the measurement in inches where the end of the tape meets the rest of the tape measure.
- Repeat the measurement a couple of times to ensure accuracy, and take the average if there are slight variations.
Measuring your waist at the narrowest part of your torso will give you an accurate waist size measurement.
To measure the size of your hips, you can follow these steps:
- Stand up straight with your feet together.
- Locate the widest part of your hips, which is typically around the upper buttocks area.
- Wrap a measuring tape around your hips at this widest point. Make sure the tape is parallel to the floor and not twisted.
- Keep the measuring tape snug against your body, but not too tight that it compresses your skin.
- Take note of the measurement in inches where the end of the tape meets the rest of the tape measure.
- Repeat the measurement a couple of times to ensure accuracy, and take the average if there are slight variations.
Remember that it's important to measure around the widest part of your hips, as this will provide an accurate representation of your hip size.
For comfort fit, choose size based on min measurement (skirt when relaxed)
For tight fit, choose size closer to max measurement (skirt when stretched)
For example, if your measurements are 38" waist and 41" hip, for tight fit choose S and for comfort fit choose M.

Still confused? Measure the length of your maxi skirt that is ankle length! When in doubt, go with the shorter length - the purpose of a Saree Silhouette when worn under a saree is to be unseen.
