How to Drape a Saree in 2025: Dhoti Drape Tutorial

Products Used:
Step #1:
First pleat the pallu and make sure to pin it so it stays together.
Step #2:
Stand with about 1/3 of your saree to your left and 2/3 of your saree to your right (you may need to adjust based on your body and draping style).
Step #3:
Tie the saree tightly around your waist.
Step #4:
Wrap the left side of the saree around your left leg.
Step #5:
Take the shortest side of fabric and start taking your pleats.
Step #6:
Once you're done pleating, tuck them into the centre of your back.
Step #7:
Wrap the right side of the saree around your right leg.
Step #8:
Fix your pallu and put it on your left shoulder.
Step #9:
Accessorize and there you have it, the Dhoti Drape!
