Pleat the Pallu
Step #1:
Ensure the entire sari is well-ironed for ease of preparation. Decide the width of the pleat and take the first layer based on that width.

Step #2:
Pleat the pallu, adjusting for any puffiness by pressing it down or pinning as needed.

Step #3:
Repeat this process until you reach the other end of the saree. Ensure that the good side of the sari is on both sides of the pallu.

Step #4:
Iron the pleated pallu once you are satisfied with the pleats. Use safety pins to secure and aid in the ironing process.
Front Pleats
Step #5:
If doing it for yourself, wrap it around yourself, ensuring the pleats are taken at the right spot.

Step #6:
Start pleating until you get your desired amount of pleats. Gather and stagger the pleats slightly, then pin them together.

Step #7:
Lay the gathered pleats over the ironing board with the outside facing down.

Step #8:
Fan out the front pleats for a beautiful shape. Iron only the inside folds lightly, leaving the outside folds organic and puffy.

Chest Pleats

Lay the pallu down on the ironing board, pinning at the top

Step #10:
