Traditional Saree Drapes | Hazaribag
The Hazaribag drape comes from northern Jharkhand and is traditionally worn by women from Adivasi communities such as the Santhal and Oraon. Rooted in ritual and everyday use.

- A handwoven cotton saree, often with natural dyes and bold borders, worn without a petticoat
- The drape begins with front pleats tucked at the waist
- The remaining fabric brought over the head to form a hooded veil that frames the face
- The back is covered fully, with the pallu sometimes wrapped around the shoulders or upper arms
